I don’t know about all of you, but one of my all time favorite snacks when I go to the Disney Parks is the infamous Dole Whip! Ever just been sitting at home and all of a sudden, BAM! You get a craving for a Dole Whip?
Well you’re in luck! I found this amazing recipe for home made Dole Whips courtesy of the folks over at WonderHowTo.com!
- 4 cups of Fresh Cut frozen pineapple
- 1 cup of coconut milk (or other dairy substitute)
- Add the pineapple and coconut milk together in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
(Seriously, it’s that easy.)
Getting fresh cut pineapple is key! Whether you cut it yourself or buy it pre-cut, make sure it’s not the bagged frozen stuff or it won’t taste as good! Now, it’s not exactly the same, of course, but it is definitely the closest I have come to making them in my kitchen! The best part is, you can increase the recipe to make a bigger batch and it freezes well so you can save some for later!
Have any tweaks to the recipe that make it better? Post it in the comments below! I’d love to hear it and give it a shot!
